Choosing a photographer is about more than just photos — it’s about trust, experience, and fit. These FAQs are designed to give you a clearer sense of how I work and what you can expect from start to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you photograph weddings, elopements, and micro-weddings?

Yes, I photograph weddings of all sizes. Everything from elopements with just the couple, micro-weddings with just a small crew, and large full-day celebrations with hundreds of guests. Photography collections are customized based on the scale, timeline, and priorities of your day.

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I’m based in New York City (Queens, baby!) and regularly photograph weddings throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the surrounding areas of Long Island & Hudson Valley. Travel is available for destination weddings and elopements — just let me know where you’re planning to celebrate.

How would you describe your photography style?

My approach blends documentary storytelling with intentional, artful portraits. I focus on capturing real moments as they unfold, while also gently guiding you when needed to create strong, emotional, and visually striking images.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?

Not at all! Most couples feel this way, including the ones featured throughout my work. I’ll give you clear, relaxed guidance so you never feel stiff or overly posed. The goal is for you to feel comfortable and present, not like you’re performing for the camera.

What is included in your wedding packages?

All packages include photography coverage, thoughtful guidance throughout the planning process, and a curated online proof gallery of final edited images. Specific coverage lengths and add-ons vary based on recommendations from an initial consultation.

How many photos will we receive?

The number of images varies depending on coverage length and the flow of your day, but you can expect a full, comprehensive gallery that tells the complete story of your wedding or elopement — no arbitrary limits.

Do you help with timeline planning?

Yes, I assist with building a photo-friendly timeline that prioritizes great light, realistic pacing, and an enjoyable experience. I also help with location suggestions, which is especially useful for elopements and small wedding days with alternative timelines.

Have you photographed at our venue before?

Having already photographed at a venue previously can be helpful, but if I haven’t been to yours yet that’s no issue. I always arrive early, prepared, and able to adapt quickly to new spaces and lighting conditions.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Second photographers are available depending on the size and needs of your wedding. I’ll recommend what makes the most sense for your day — no upselling, just honest guidance. I will always be your primary photographer no matter which collection is booked.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Engagement sessions are available as standalone portrait sessions or as part of certain wedding collections. They’re a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day.

How long does it take to receive our photos?

Your full gallery is typically ready within six to eight weeks of your wedding day. Each image is carefully culled and edited for consistency, tone, and quality.

Will our photos be edited or retouched?

All final images are edited in-house for color, exposure, cropping, and overall style. Natural retouching is applied where appropriate, while still keeping everything true to real life.

Do you provide sneak previews?

Yes, you’ll receive a small set of previews shortly after your wedding day so you can relive the experience and share a few favorites right away.

How do we book you?

Booking your photography requires a signed contract and a retainer to secure your date. Once that’s complete, your wedding date is officially reserved. Fill out the Contact Form to get started.

What happens if we need to reschedule?

Life happens. If your plans change, I’ll work with you to reschedule when possible, subject to availability and contract terms.

Do you have backup equipment?

Absolutely, always. I carry multiple cameras, lenses, and memory backups to ensure your day is fully covered from studio to event and back.

Can we print our photos?

All collections include full print design services and access to professional lab printing. You'll also receive proof copies of your final images, which you can use to self-order individual prints from consumer labs at up to 8x10" sizing.

Do you provide video services?

No, I specialize in photography services. I am happy to recommend a short list of preferred videographers whose services complement mine, and I will happily work alongside anyone you choose to provide videography services for your day.
